Hand-coded web design for a story, along with photography and maps made by me. Radioactive Railroad tells the story of the now partially abandoned railroad line running through the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, and contains my account of visiting Ukraine and Chernobyl, and riding the remains of the railroad line. In order to properly research and create maps, I taught myself the Cyrillic alphabet, and the website uses special fonts to look seamless while using both the English and Cyrillic alphabets.

The story on this website was modified and condensed and appeared in Railfan & Railroad magazine.
